Getting naked

I don’t nearly love my body as much as I should and I feel like I still have a long way to go. However, when I look back, I realize I already came a long way.

I don’t know if this was the case with you, but I remember being in my early twenties and hiding my body, and to be fair, that wasn’t only when being naked. I know it wasn’t only me either. I remember my friends hiding after gym class and we always looked up to the few exceptions who had confidence overflowing.

Was it because we were still at this early stage of getting to know our bodies and how much love and attention it deserves? Like being young and in love, being obsessed by how everything is evolving but still not knowing how to commit to it just yet.
We do find love for ourselves, we find “our style”, we find peace within our own beautiful self. Commit to it, love it the exact way it deserves. We have a lifetime in our bodies, and it should be celebrated for taking us on this journey.
