Period pain is not supposed to feel like dying

period pain

I’m posting the post and journey about my uterine tumor here starting on May 13th (yet this post was made and published on April 27th ’21), as I decided to make this place on the interwebs even more so a home for us all. I decided to not be limited by the word limit or algorithms on Instagram, but share all of my content on my blog as well.

What I posted on April 27th:

One day was being pushed to the floor in agony. I was in excruciating pain. I felt there was something seriously wrong.

People always say “it’s normal” to experience extreme period pain. Only.. there is no scale to measure pain. Pain isn’t something we all experience the same way. And it’s often something that we cannot put into words as well as we wish we could.

While the period pain was dragging me down, I was contemplating going to the ER. I ended up not going because I felt like it was unnecessary to take a bed and time away from nurses and doctors for “some” period pain. I was minimizing my own pain, seems familiar?

Little did I know at the time there was a tumor that caused this pain.

Never again will I ever minimize my own pain ever again.

Listen to your body, validate it as you should. Don’t minimize your pain, it’s valid.

You’re valid 💜

xoxo

I am free to be myself

10 signs you’re dealing with a narcissistic person

10 signs you’re dealing with a narcissistic person - Detaching yourself from a narcissistic person is difficult, requires a lot of energy, standing your ground, keeping your boundaries and so much more, and it can still take ages and decades to be fully detached.
